Einen Anlass zum Feiern gab es am 26. Juni 2021 in unserem Konvent in Südafrika: Sr. Maria Machi hat ihre ewige Profess abgelegt. Mit dabei waren Generaloberin Sr. Katharina Ganz und Generalrätin Sr. Juliana Seelmann, die zur Visitation in Südafrika sind.

Sr. Maria versprach feierlich Gehorsam, Armut und Ehelosigkeit. Sie will den Auftrag von Antonia Werr erfüllen und weitergeben. Die 25-Jährige absolviert in Südafrika eine Ausbildung zur Lehrerin und arbeitet bereits seit 2017 in der Holychildhood School in Eshowe.

We are very happy that on the 26th of June Sr. Maria Machi made her final vows in South Africa. She promised to live for the rest of her life in Obedience, Poverty and Celibacy, fulfilling our mission from Antonia Werr. She is actually trained to be a teacher and working already in the Holychildhood School.
